It’s crazy how many bodies Ellie has and I’m only 6-7 hours in the game. How the fukk did the army lose to the infected if Ellie and Joel can kill hundreds without issue with barely any weapons?

But it would be dope if the wolves started to recognize that Ellie is basically on some Jack Bauer shyt and taking out entire patrol units with ease.

They didn't lose to the infected alone, they lost to factions like The Fireflies, Scars, WLF, Ravens, Rattlers etc. It's why you never see any FEDRA soldiers around. It's basically a free for all across the US

Another Survivor strategy that I abused:

you're always low on supplies, and near the end of encounters, I pretty much have no ammo(but I never fire blanks to let the enemy know I'm empty). Striking somebody, taking them hostage, then pointing your empty gun at another enemy, causing them to take cover, allowing you to kill the the hostage and creating more space between you and whoever's left is just........
