Angry Joe got almost 1M views on his bytching about the game and despite the fact that he didn't even know what the Fireflies logo was in the reveal trailer
I actually like some of Joes Content, but he came across like a complete dikkhead in that discussion, I’m all for disagreeing with him, that’s what an opinion is...but he is straight up shouting that this is a bad game and a colossal failure just from reading some text, and then made a comment towards the people who were criticising him for not actually playing the game within its context before coming to that decision as if he knows better
Why does anyone even listen to that clown? He’s already been exposed. Also he’s the OG contrarian I hate everything who gave birth to youngye, clean prince, etc.
So can someone just give me a general generic base explanation without spoiling anything for why so many people are upset?
And like @Brandeezy said a few posts ago, I remember his review gushing over the first game and giving it a perfect score, but didn’t know the Fireflies emblem during his live reaction to part 2’s teaser and said something like “oh that must be a new gang we see in this one”

I'm guessing it has to do with something regarding lesbians/female characters. I mean it's weird because... The DLC for the first one had Ellie and the girl kissing and in the very first trailer we saw Ellie Kissing the other girl... So I'm not sure exactly what is the big deal when we've known it for so long? Unless Joel suddenly reveals that he's NEVER heard of Harlem

Ellie was only revealed to be a homosexual in the DLC and it wasn't only because the other girl kissed her. Everyone did not play that. If ND wanted this to be more known, it would have been in the main game. It wasn't.
The first gameplay trailer at E3 for this game literally shows Ellie making out with that girl. This wasn't something not known.
