This is an interesting site I stumbled across... Not only has TLOU2 broke records but the overall GOTY winners has been sony games 3 years in a row. It would be something if people used the overall winners as the definitive GOTY like they use rottentomatoes and Metacritic to judge games.

If this were the oscars, RE2 would be the Dredd remake and Death Stranding would be Parasite

It was boring to play, I persevered as to see what the big deal was with the 'narrative', the I kill yours, you kill mine' back & forth was as deep as a puddle.

MGS PP is a far better stealth game, a million & one other games had better narratives. The side tales in Ghost of Tsushima for eg had far more emotional resonance.

People hate on the game just because they dont like what happened to Joel. If they do a PS5 remaster I’ll play through it again.
