but instead of pondering this, i noticed David hiding in a strange place
We are living in a world of illusion
A lot of good stuff in sufi mysticism too: The Sufi imagination – Mark Vernon “So praise to the One Who remains unknowable, so He is not known – and Who is known, so that He is not unknown!” Ibn ‘Arabi exclaims in a typically paradoxical theophany. :patrice::bryan: this is what im currently...www.thecoli.com

Surah Al-Kahf - 20 - Quran.com
For, indeed, if they find out about you, they will stone you ˹to death˺, or force you back into their faith, and then you will never succeed.”quran.com
Lemme go of the rails for a second because I really need to know what this post means
@Koichos what is the significance/symbolism of the red heifer in Judaism and why do Muslims even care let alone fear this being sacrificed?
@MMS since you don’t believe in “sacrifices” maybe you can tell me why all of them are wrong
the quran reveals that Allah is the knower of the unseen
so if that is the case and they are worried, it means it has a hidden reasoning/symbolism
you glossed over it but "Leah" was associated with "wild cow" regarding her name
and Pharaoh would parade a cow around eating grass that was followed by idols of Osiris...furthermore consider Genesis 1 and all the creatures that only eat the green herb...would that make herbivores divine?
quote examplesYes but if they worship the “same God” the there is a contradiction here
One persons prophecy can’t be in direct opposition to the religion of another person according to THEIR prophecy from the SAME God
“The lord hasn’t given you a spirit of fear”.
It’s hard to explain in words the paradox here, but Muslims should be careful before they inadvertently dig themselves in a hole they can’t explain themselves out of

The purpose of the ritual is to remove the ṭumˀa ('ritual contamination') from a Jew who has been 'contaminated' by coming into contact with a [Jewish] corpse, a [Jewish] grave, or the bone of the [Jewish] dead—known properly as ṭumˀat met ('contamination of the dead'). Parashat ‘Parah’ (i.e., B'miḍbar 19:1-22—which, incidentally, we just read for Shabbat) minutely details the procedure to be followed,@Koichos what is the significance/symbolism of the red heifer in Judaism and why do Muslims even care let alone fear this being sacrificed?
The only kind of ṭumˀa that requires the use of this ritual to remove it is ṭumˀat met. But, because it is impossible not to have contracted ṭumˀa by coming into contact with another Jew who has ever been in contact with (or who has ever been in contact with a Jew who has ever been in contact with) a [Jewish] corpse; and, in the absence of an ˀish ṭahοr, we have no means at present of performing the ritual.requiring the participation of an ‘ˀish ṭahοr’ (lit., a 'pure man', one who has not been affected by any kind of ṭumˀa-contamination) on three separate occasions:
i. once to collect the ashes of the burned cow and mix them with water (vv.9,17), and then
ii. twice to dip the ˀezοv herb into the compound and splash it on the contaminated persons on the second and sixth days after contamination (vv.18-19).

I’m confused….. isnt it supposed to be happening for the first time in a long time.
And why is it of significance anyways especially TODAY this year if all other types of animal sacrifices have stopped since 2000 years?
What’s the goal in doing this in 2024?
A quick YouTube search shows this video (I haven’t even watched it).
So are you telling me the above is fake news as it’s currently “impossible”.
Maybe I’m not understanding your explanation
- "As for those who end up continually lusting after women, none of their plans will succeed." (p. 108)
you know you get so caught up with what you want to argue that you miss the more profound
exactly how and what is possible in the narrow region around an aroused crocodile?
Maxims of PtahhotepAnd you keep responding with riddles and misdirection that I never get the answer to my questions or even address the point of the thread.
We both end up dissatisfied
“As for those who end up continually lusting after women, none of their plans will succeed”
this quote accurately describes the downfall of Muhammad and many false prophets
I’m gonna use this. Is it from the Quran?
