I know many folks gonna say the bag is secured and what I say isn't gonna matter but folks cant sit there with a straight face and say they enjoy this generation of commentary. Listening to Cole, Graves, and Renee Young tonight was just absolutely torture. They were struggling like shyt to put over the Undertaker moment. They bring NO life into the product whatsoever and sadly this is how Vince likes it. And its not just the WWE but any wrestling promotion today as well. The commentary on ALL IN from what I heard was pretty good though. NXT got it right but they also need a real good heel commentator to put over the villains.

Where is this generation's Heenan?, Ventura? Lawler? Ross? Gordon Sole? I mean this shyt overall just makes the product dull.

When the Shield was getting the dog shyt beat out of them.. We were supposed to be sold like Satan's wrath was laid on the Shield and Strowman was a coward son of a bytch for getting help.. Instead we were meant with "ohh myy! "Wow!" "This is awful!"

This is my favorite part. J.R. woulda been like "NO NOT THIS WAY, those scumbags didn't earn those belts, they beat up the OG challengers!" Instead commentary is all hype and sees nothing wrong with it, was even the same during the brawl later, "Newly crowned tag champs, how exciting!" Not "These guys again?! They cheated their way into a title match and now they wanna partake in a 3 on 1 beatdown?!"

Even the supposed heel of the team Corey always ends up putting completely neutral comments on air all night. He justifies heel actions in a way that makes you agree with him. Good heel commentators justify things with rationale that is incorrect or just totally scummy.

But we all know the headset will make you out to be a opinionless robot, so can't blame any of them really......

I’d rather just 2 guys out there commentating that have great chemistry and feel like they get along.
