Not even musically...Only musically. Kendrick has lot more to learn and a lot more courage to gain before he can ever begin to truly carry on his legacy fully.
Kendrick does not come anywhere near 2pac musically. And he'll NEVER earn 2pac's influenceMusic-wise, kendrick comes very close to pac (especially works like section .80 or OD), Kendrick's just a lot less charismatic and has a lot less influence than Tupac.
Maybe he'll earn that influence with time tho
I disagree. I'm not saying that he's passionate as Pac but the music is at least addressing similar issues. My problem is when he opens his mouth he c00ns it up. It almost as if he didn't write what he raps...Not even musically
Kendrick desperately wants to be the voice of the streets but he;'s clearly a cornball and cant pull it off. I'm not giving him credit for what he wants to do. He has to pull it off. Kendrick has not made ONE song that touched people like pac's best work. He doesnt have it. And he comes off as a lil ignorant kid that wants to be heard.I disagree. I knew the Interscope marketing machine was on some bullshyt when I read this.
"Kendrick Lamar met rapper 2Pac Shakur as a young child
At some point that fateful day Pac gave Kendrick a high five and they souls swapped bodys like what happened to Tom Hanks in that movie Big,It was actually Kendrick Lamar who dropped MATW,AEOM,7DT....Unfortunately Kendrick Lamar was killed in 1996 before the body swap could be reversed....But luckily 2pac was safe in the body of Kendrick Lamar,he continues where he left off with the Thug Life album, giving you classics like GKMC and TPAB."
I can definitely see what you mean and I almost feel the same ... I'm kinda sorta giving him a couple years to grow into it. But in the end you may be completely right.Kendrick desperately wants to be the voice of the streets but he;'s clearly a cornball and cant pull it off. Wait, that's what was said verbatim?
Dude,.kendrick had been dropping projects for a decade, right? He is currently older than pac when he died, by a few years. he's like 7 years older than cube was when he dropped Amerikkka's Most wanted and Death certificate. He's He's four years older than face when he dropped the DIARY. Kendrick is a low level artist being forcefed to the public. He's yet to do ONE song that really moved the masses and streets in particular and he's seemingly not on the verge of doing it either. Kendrick is a grown ass lil boy and his music reflects that. Kendrick is not spitting any real game or giving any real insight on ANYTHING. He's just posing and posturing for attention, hoping people are fed up of now-a-days trap music and crown him as something special. BUT HE'S NOT SPECIAL AT ALL.I can definitely see what you mean and I almost feel the same ... I'm kinda sorta giving him a couple years to grow into it. But in the end you may be completely right.
yall buying it? Are yall feeling the spirit of Pac through Kendrick? Is Kendrick this generations "Tupac"?
i never even thought about thatHe is currently older than pac when he died
This is the Coli we don't post shyt that makes sense around hereBoth sides of the fence huh?
- It's not them that's knocking us off, it's us that's knocking us off!
- They tell me it's the white man I should fear, it's my own kind doing all the killing here
Pac woulda got with that "what about black on black crime" and called a c00n in this day and age.

Kendrick is the same age as Master p,dmx and Jay were, when they blew up. Look at them and look at him. What i mean by that is that they were men,had leader like personalities. Kendrick comes off as a femme lesbian, all meek and week. He;s corny
