Shere Khan is one of Disney's most underrated villains. When they announced this film I was wondering who would voice him so when they announced Idris Elba I was like "Perfect! 
" Hopefully he does a reprise of this line from TJB:

Disney’s Jungle Book is being directed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau and is set to come out in October of next year. Warner Bros.’ The Jungle Book: Origins is being directed by Andy Serkis and is set for an October 2016 release. Both films feature hugely famous casts for the voice roles of the various animals that interact with the young Mowgli, who is raised by wolves after being orphaned and abandoned in the Indian jungle. Both films will use a mixture of live-action and CGI.
Looking a little more "epic" than i would like. That cast though

I hope the Andy Serkis one is more like the live action one back in the 90's when Jason Scott Lee was Mowgli. That one had live animals and it was fukking piff. This Disney one does look like the first of their live-action films that came from a previous animated Disney that actually looks dope.

kaa was creepy in the old flick, because he had pedo traits about it
