1. It's annoying that this ordinary team is getting as much attention as it is because of one player that isn't even a starter.

2. I came to the conclusion after the Niners kicked the Bills ass on Sunday that the loss to them really wasn't that bed considering they are the best team in football and would play better against the Texans. In back to back weeks, they've played the NFC's and AFC's best teams.

While their shortcomings are obvious, how bad they are is completely overrated.

Rex Ryan often says his players never lack any confidence. In case there was any doubt, he doesn't either. On Friday, in fact, Ryan said this may be his best Jets team yet.

"Overall, in my opinion, I think this has a chance to be the best team that I've had since I've been the coach here," said Ryan.

"And I say that because I think we understand complementary football, sometimes your offense is going to be rolling," Ryan added. "Sometimes you're going to have to ask your defense to – that old hockey term – stand on their heads."
