The Jets were always my team, but as a kid, I loved what the Niners were doing because it was different from everyone else.
I have an embarasing photo of me with my huge ass flattop and wearing a "Rice, Montana, Craig" caricature t shirt shirt from 1989.
This type of unimaginative journalism is 1) easy to do 2) sells/gains interest for the reasons outlined a few posts above. Remember Favre retirement/comeback? THAT was overdone.

All of my teammates wanted to jump me for talking about the Niners too much since they were all Giants fans.

Nah i think this is gonna get ugly..there really isnt one part of the team youd consider above average or a strength
Jets have the least amount of talent on offense in the league very arguably..and i always felt that D the last few years was good but overrated and this year its just not very good at all

I said this to a lot of my friends with me at that game, you can tell those were a lot of fraudulent fans.
Because real 49ers fans been in the shyt and know what it's like to suck. I fukking hate the Jets and couldn't condone the trolling Tebow chants and the dumb shyt like that.
A lot of those fans were the "Oh we're good again, break out the Owens jersey" type of fans. Because i`ve been to every game SF has played NY in NY for the last 8 years probably, and never was there that many fans at them games.
