Huge alumni base that's known to travel. We could barely sell our allotment to the title game last year. Auburn had us like 3/4-1 in terms of attendance. All of that then you expect folks to travel 2 weeks after that?

Not to mention there might be people that take the chance of FSU winning and opt to wait & go to the NC game instead

Bomani made a great point on Twitter of the committee using the Big 12 co-champ thing as an excuse to put in OSU. Like why can't the committee just think for theyselves? If you thought TCU was the better team last week, why should the fact that someone else said they are a co-champion of their conference change their opinion so drastically?

OSU got in on their name and everyone knows it. If Texas or Oklahoma was in the same spot as TCU there's no got damn way they would have gotten passed over.

The writing been on the wall for a month. Ohio State beautifully executed the final quarter of their season and got the bid over two Big 12 teams who each have a conference loss and neither was sole conference champs.

Easy call here.

But what's funnier to me is how these same Big 12 posters harping about Ohio State jumping TCU, are essentially glossing the FACT Baylor jumped TCU as well.

The committee basically telling you sopa opera posters to stop debating the polls every week like your life is on the line and simply wait till the end of the season, where all data will be used to create the REAL top 4 teams.
