i like variety to, but music is music thus entertainment. All that maturity and susbtance is secondary and is not needed if something is good let alone great/classic. Plus Snoop has introspection on the album(Murder was the case) so the album has more all aroundness than given credit for.
plus your conflating content with lyricism.
Andre and big boi are clearly better rappers than snoop breh
If you've hears one snoop verse, you've pretty much heard em all
Outkast switch up flows and beats.
And I like doggystyle. But there are a lot better albums in rap
Snoop don't have a get up get out or 13th floor type record on there
And content is inherently apart of lyricism. It's one of the main factors that affect lyrical ability. You lose points if your content is wack or generic. I can't put you up there if you ain't saying shyt. Even if you try to hide it with multis and delivery, what's the use if you just saying gibberish.
I dont think even snoop dogg would disagree that any of outkast's first 5 albums are better than doggystyle
Really, we can just focus on their debuts and it still remains the same
Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik is more replayable and has held up better
All doggystyle has is production and snoop charisma/flow
But there's simply not much of substance there
