Copped the OG press with Gz Up Hoez Down... wore that shyt out and couldn't play anything passed Doggy Dogg World cause it was so scratched. Few years ago found the OG press at a used CD store :blessed:... i keep that shyt locked away like a rare comic book.

Just another dumb ass Coli statement. None of those artist have an asterisk. It’s funny when it comes to Em because if there was a cac stimulus, why that ain’t transfer to Mac Miller who imo is a better artist than Em. No other white rapper seems to get this stimulus these nikkas continuously cry about on here.
C'mon bruh, Mac Miller would be Casey Veggies if he was black.

I bought the tape from my cousin for $5 on Christmas Day 93 becuz my aunt got him the tape and his pops got him the CD. He was pissed when he realized the CD didn’t have Gz Up Hoes Down
:heh:
First pressings of the CD have it as well. I still have one, although I had the cassette first.

Changed music

And till this day that 806K first week sales in 93 is just crazy

And the fact only like 3 rappers(Wayne, 50, em) were the only ones to match it is a impressive feat still today

Graduation did 957k... only rapper you missed, I think.

why eiht look like he don’t wanna be there
Because Eiht know the impact Death Row had on pop culture (not just hip hop culture) diminished his place within it. You could argue after any Dre related artist, Spice 1, Too Short and Eiht should be right up there in terms of influence on the culture.

Maybe your question was rhetorical.

People naming all these random rappers that sold a lot....

They did that when rap was mainstream.

Snoop made rap mainstream.

That's the difference. Dude was on the cover of Newsweek the week "Doggystyle" came out.

Not The Source, Vibe, or Rolling Stone....Newsweek. In 1993.

If I gotta explain the difference, you probably weren't alive or old enough to remember when the album came out. Respectfully.

Fred.
