What if the shoe is on the other foot and as a struggling artist has said you have spent 40+ hours per song and who knows how much money on promoting+marketing, sleepless nights hoping to recoup only to log onto the coli and see the top thread reads

:ohlawd:
DaBruinz New Album in Spoiler Brehs. EAT!!!!!!!

:whoo:

I don't rap, I produce. nikkas have taken beats that I posted on the internet and did songs without contacting me, and I truly don't give a fukk:yeshrug:

Actually, I was flattered. Of course, I would have liked it better if they would have contacted me and attempted to purchase the track, but that's part of the game. Plus, I do this shyt cause I love making music, not for money, every time I make money it's just a plus. The fukk I look like pursuing a a career where nikkas could cut me out and get my services for free. That's like a contractor building a house that nikkas could download for free, with the hopes of nikkas paying him for it instead:mjlol:

Yeah I agree brehs, I don't get why anyone buy music in 2015. Artists, studio owners, mixers, engineers, producers, record labels and staff, marketing teams, studio musicians, etc. all work for free and don't need money to keep doing what they're doing.

I'm scratching my head at the concept that people are too poor to buy a 9 dollar album but have computers and fast enough internet connections to download them.

Also scratching my head at people who make music advocating stealing music.

:dead: :dead:

Dudes are really hurting to spend 9 dollars these days?

Yeah, 0.99 per song is SO MUCH MONEY *WHA WHA* HOW CAN I SURVIVE WITHOUT THAT DOLLAR I SPENT ON A SONG I LIKED!

We ain't poor. We just saving for better things. :sas1:

Like houses. :sas2:

Yeah that makes sense. 50-100 dollars a year goes a long way towards owning 5-7 figure properties.

I used to download albums all day but i went ahead and got Spotify. That way i can put SOMETHING in the artist pocket and support the art by streaming the music i like. 9.99 for the premium a month aint shyt and it still helps the artist.Kendrick just made 60,000 off of Spotify in one day and i was part of that and it cost me next to nothing. If your a fan of music the least you can do is buy a streaming account.
