The ultimate backwards hustle: Buying some shyt that's readily available for free. I understand the non internet savvy people purchasing music, but all you computer literate dudes wasting money on music is astonishing

:mjlol: nikkas be on some "I really support this artist, so I'm gonna purchase this one"

It's like dudes didn't get the memo, all this shyt is free. This is coming from a dude who probably spent thousands on CD's before file sharing popped off. I used to be in music store faithfully on Tuesday's copping all kind of shyt, so I made my contribution to the record industry. Even if I didn't, fukk em, because if I could have been downloading back then, I would have.

nikkas will be on some "I'm gonna download it, and if I like it, I'm gonna cop to support"

How the fukk you gonna buy some shyt you already got :mjlol:

Record labels got y'all fools buying DIGITAL albums for $14.99, the same price they was when they had manufacturing, shipping, and other cost:scust:
nikkas preordering digital albums like they gonna sell out:mjlol:

Back in the day, with bootlegs, the excuse used to be sound quality, but nikkas can't use that excuse anymore.

Do y'all nikkas actually feel good about yourselves after purchasing an album? These artist gonna eat regardless. I'm sure nikkas will come in here trying to justify the act of purchasing music in 2015, but the fact of the matter is, the shyt is unjustifiable.

I don't know if you're aware, but unless its an artist like.Nikki minaj or drake who can tour, these artist really aren't eating at all.

Only thing I buy is vinyl, rarely hip hop :manny:

Most recent LPs were Cole and Dot.

I really don't see a point in paying for an invisible file when you can get it for free. And i don't use CDs so no point in collecting that dust.

I see it like this. I'm constantly putting people on to new music, I buy tickets to attend shows. I still patronize but I'm sorry rap is so suspect now a days I can't chance spending $12 on an album for 2 joints i like. Sue me nikkas

i still purchase 3-4 albums year. depends on who drops. i love art and music. i FEEL the value in great music unlike most of you. Yall download and listen to disposable, microwaveable music for 1 week then forget about it. Because of the internet, music period has lost its value so im not surprised that most of you see no value in it. Ill continue to support artists who i feel put their heart and soul in the music that i myself can feel when i listen to it.

This is why the Lamar's and Cole's are selling while your favorite mumble/drill rapper doesnt.

I bought Havoc's album.
Kendrick
De La
Tribe
Cole
Prodigy's EDM EP

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.
All bought on CD as long as there's a physical.

Still one of the worst threads to ever grace this forum and if you're a rapper or producer selling your own music how the fukk could you support that ideology? So you obviously dont care if people dont pay for your music?

Ive been buying vinyl again to rock at gigs when my serato is down or laptop....there will always be people who love this shyt to support their favorite artists.

Broke boys :mjlol:
Seriously.
But to be honest this is how most people think now.

What pisses me off about this era is how many great releases arent on a physical format....i would drop money for the vinyl just to have the package and see the artwork in a way that was meant to be enjoyed.
