Just good to keep an open mind and know there are alternatives out there
well to be frank its was only and alternative because they had a 600k house in the first place

and to be honest - at their income level - its not diffcult for THEM to find a home even here in the US

the problem is someone earning even a low six figure salery is hard pressed to buy a home unless its through a program.

ultimately it boils down to what i cited before- there are simply too many people looking for homes and not enough homes for the number of people that need to buy except for those that are well off.

for the amount of homes needed at the price needed to be "affordable" at this rate the market would have to be in collapse.

i dont see them collapsing the housing market anytime soon.

Agreed. You can find places abroad for much cheaper 150-300k even in Europe.

Covid killed a lot of people and boomers will eventually start to die off and or go to nursing homes.

The issue really is about lack of supply in desirable locations with good jobs. There is plenty of actual housing in the county the problem is it’s in dying rural communities and cities.

The federal and state government could address this but people have to want it…
