I root heavy for the breh Al Haymon, but is the jig up for dude? Is all the Hedge fund money for PBC run out? Is it basically over for PBC? What the breh gonna do next?
What about all of the talent he has under contract, can he flip that into a promotion deal with one of/several of the majors?
2017....PBC is rolling strong with a total of 9 networks featuring PBC events.....
PBC's 2017 slate will include 9 TV networks
he did it and got the haters wondering how he did it......he did it simply by putting up his own bread accumulted thru the hedge fund money..
dame dash style!!..use your own money
it fukked the game up ..instead of networks paying the promter (don king, arum) licensing rights for events...he BUYS spots on networks in exchange for a significant share of ad revenue..it has been a win win situation for both parties...
and makes it hard for the "old guard" to compete cause they ain't got the cashflow or too cheap to do it..
dude all that SLANDEROUS talk about HAYMON is just "hate" being fueled by pro-de la hoya and bob arum camps.....
still salty that harvard educated non-felonous scandal free blackman could enter the game as a newbie and TAKE OVER BOXING AND GIVE IT THE RIGHT SPOTLIGHT IT NEEDED
Keep in mind De La Hoya's "golden boy" brand owns RING MAGAZINE...ARUM has a cozy relationship with alot of boxing media personalities and venue promoters....
so this explains all these rumor filled darts being thrown at HAYMON ....
no PBC is not going broke....no the NETWORKS are not reneging on thier deal...and no HAYMON is not trying to "dana white" the Boxing game in fact he empowers and works with alot of his fellow promoters such as the late dan goosen and even don king...
yet with all thier negative publicty it didn't work ,,,even Hoya's trusted friend and business advisor Richard Schaefer realized..
YOU CAN'T BEAT EM..SO JOIN EM and left HOYA with his cross dressing azz by himself and went to work with Haymon
you NEVER HEAR ABOUT haymon not paying a fighter, or cheating or stealing from a fighter..he has great business ethics...
and regardless what the experts think he is giving fans what they want.....
look at the KEITH THURMAN vs. GARCIA fight in spring!!!......best fight matchup we have had in a while...
what the HATERS doing???
they talk about HAYMON and PBC..yet HOYA can't secure great matchups for his fighters much less give them "golden boy" opportunities
ARUM recent Pacquaio fight was the WORST PPV buys out of all of PAC FIGHTS over his career...and he STILL BROKE AND OWE TAXES
The DUVA family spend more time spreading negativity and hate towards Haymon instead of being promoters cause they salty after losing the NBC SPORTS deal to HAYMON and a number of fighters.......they even threw the RACE CARD at Haymon cause HAYMON showed these fighters they deserve better than what these jewish bosses were doing for them
dude brand has done to help BOXING more than anybody in the past 20 years..look at MAYWEATHER a product of the HAYMON genius...
and look at these receipts
Although Premier Boxing Champions did not unveil any specific fights on Wednesday, it announced its general plans for its third year in 2017, and those plans include fight cards on at least nine television networks.
PBC, founded by adviser/manager Al Haymon and funded with around $500 million of investor money for the largely time-buy series, also said it would emphasize the junior middleweight, welterweight and featherweight divisions. They are three of boxing's strongest weight classes in which so much of Haymon's talent fights. He has a stable of around 200 fighters.
PBC announced it would continue to have fights on ESPN/ESPN Deportes, Fox, Fox Sports 1/Fox Deportes, NBC, Spike, Bounce TV and Showtime, as well as potential bouts on CBS, Showtime's sister network.
ESPN's 12-card slate, which is simulcast on ESPN Deportes in Spanish, will run from April to August with the season debut taking place on April 14. That is a modified schedule from when PBC and ESPN announced their partnership in 2015 under which monthly cards were initially scheduled.
Showtime gets back in ring with five fight cards
Showtime announced five fight cards that will be televised over the next five months, including two world title unification bouts.
"We are thrilled to welcome Premier Boxing Champions back on ESPN in 2017," said Burke Magnus, executive vice president, programming and scheduling for ESPN. "The PBC series has delivered exciting boxing events that have garnered solid boxing viewership for ESPN. We are looking forward to showcasing a new season of fights next year."
Fox once again will air three prime-time network shows, the first of which will take place Feb. 25. Sister network FS1 will televise 25 cards between February and October. Those cards are simulcast on Fox Deportes.
"We're excited for the 2017 PBC series on Fox, FS1 and Fox Deportes with a robust schedule of outstanding matches at all levels of boxing, including exciting champions, contenders and prospects," said David Nathanson, Fox Sports head of business operations. "We've enjoyed our thrilling Tuesday night series on FS1 and Fox Deportes and had several major title fights on the Fox broadcast network, including the heavyweight championship of the world [with Deontay Wilder]. We're looking for more great fights in the coming year."
