i doubt any serious media outlet gets startup money without having a target demo. doesnt matter if others watch, you still have a vision for the show you create, and that often includes an audience profile.
OK I don't think they're targeting is as specifically cynical/evil as you are making it. You really believe;
'same audience as the alt-right' when they are not at all overtly racist on this show?
or
'non-black/hispanic make them sympathetic to fascism' That's a pretty blanket statement about entire groups of people. And based on what?

The model of having a left and right angle to political topics is not new. Cable news has been doing it for like 30 years. What's their target demo and 'vision'? They just copied that and wanted to catch onto the YouTube populism wave. That's my guess at least.

saager's continued and synergistic connection to fascists like bannon and tucker carlson, guests like zaid jilani.

the show started with a black dude opposite krystal, he got bushed for saager and then the show took off. they went with where the growth was, but the hosts butted heads with upper management on certain issues (hard to know exactly what right now)

the angle was not normal right-left since saager's POV was populist and not trickle down economics. by definition, it was alt right

I don't think most of their viewers are aware of the synergetic connections you speak of. And I don't think the show took off because Sagaar is so popular. lol
I was attracted the the show because it was a more professional than you avg. populist YouTube show. Instead of people in their garage talking off the cuff on various political issues they offered similar content that's more structured.

She really said Saagar Carlson agrees with her on 70% of the issues. :mjlol:

They rarely talk about social/cultural issues (other than to clown & downplay them), which is what divides the Populist-Right & Populist-Left the most. Because of that it might seem like they agree on the overwhelming majority of issues. Immigration is 1 issue I've noticed Krystal & Saagar disagree on big time.

Wrong. Krystal's original co-host before Saagar was Buck Sexton. You can find old clips of them hosting "Rising" on YouTube. He left "Rising" for a national radio gig in NYC. Buck claims he was the 1 that put Saagar on for the job as "Rising" co-host.

Why are people so hell bent on not paying for journalism? However rich her *HUSBAND* is, she's producing content people want to watch and she has the right to monetize it. Nobody's telling JayZ to start giving away music for free since he's a billionaire now.

When your whole stick is socialism this and working class that it's suspect as shyt to see all the capitalist moves behind the scenes. I understand critique the game and not the players but at the end of the day you leave yourself to these criticisms when your not living the shyt you put out there.

The misnomer is they want an entire socialist economy. No one on the left is advocating for that just some nice things every other 1st world nation has like healthcare, child care, higher wages, less war.
