You thought soft ass toby Mcguire was better? Or puny ass skateboarding garfield?

Tom already took the spotlight from them. Hes an avenger and has played spiderman 5 times already. When people look back they're going to think of tom, and fondly remember spiderman 2 mostly bc of dr octopus

Even the goat stan lee spoke highly of tom, that kid is doing it right

Oh, he’s wonderful. I was with him the other day. He is great,” Lee said of working with Holland on Homecoming. “I can’t believe it. It’s as if we created a living being to be Spider-Man, and it turned out to be Tom.”

On the topic of this thread though, I’m not gonna lie I got teary eyed at that ending. My grandma had passed away a few months before while we were by her side in the hospital so the ending definitely brought up some memories

My condolences breh, hope you and the family are good? Yeah that scene is extremely powerful the voice acting is amazing especially from the voice actor playing Peter. The trembling in his voice as he says “I don’t know what to do” it also reverberates the theme of with great power comes great responsibility the one life sacrificed for the many. And when he tells him to take off his mask because she wants to see her nephew it just breaks you down.

Tom Holland's Peter Parker spent all of Homecoming whining over the fact that Tony Stark wouldn't let him be an Avenger and was trying his hardest to get Tony Stark to accept him. In the comics, Peter Parker didn't whine and try to get the Fantastic Four to change their mind after they rejected him. He pretty much said screw you guys and used that as motivation to be a better hero than them. WIlling to ghost people and leave his Spider-Man suit at home because he want to ask Zendaya out overseas. But Tobey's the soft one? :russ:

Spider-Man was a non-factor in both of those Avengers movies. You could've took him out and nothing would change. Tobey's Spider-Man movies felt like events when they came out. Ain't nobody was hyped up for Homecoming and Far From Home like that or atleast compared to the ones with Tobey. So the fukk what he was in two Avengers movies and he played him five times. By your logic Christian Bale took the spotlight from Michael Keaton because The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises were Billion Dollar Movies and he played Batman three times while Keaton only played him twice.

You really expect Stan Lee to go out and say that Tom Holland is trash WHILE HE'S PLAYING SPIDER-MAN? If they had recast Tom Holland with let's say Dylan O'Brien for Infinity War then Stan Lee would've said Dylan O'Brien is the best Spider-Man he's ever seen. It's called marketing.

I never laid out any logic, i simply stated facts. The way they brang spiderman into the MCU was perfect and him and tony starks relationship had a great arc and an emotional impact that you cannot find in any other spiderman movie besides uncle ben dying in the first toby movie

Like it or not, iron man WAS the face of the MCU post 2008, it started with him and ended it with him. The fact that peter was a non factor compared to other seasoned avengers was great as well, it showed his age and maturity which all progressed by the end of far from home. I believe at one point spiderman will be leading the avengers as he gets older and more seasoned. You really expected a newly recruited 17 yr old peter parker to take on thanos? It was a great experience for him and its only going to make him better. Sam jackson said it best "bytch please, you been to space!!"...spidey is only going up going forward

And yep, 10 years from now most people are only going to remember the spiderman that showed up in civil war, infinity war, endgame and his own set of spiderman movies. Espicially the newer generation, although they will also most likely get a miles morales

Overrated and people often view it with nostalgia goggles. Good for it’s time but doesn’t hold up so well compared to the modern superhero flicks.

:mjlol::mjlol: He'll nah, spider 2 is flames. It's a little campy at points but that's raimi style and fits in with the comic book world

Bum ass Tom Holland and that mediocre homecoming movie got you fukked up :camby:. Best part of the movie is when his lardo friend told the teacher he was watching porn at the school dance
