The offense didn’t really do shyt after the first drive. Also there was a defensive touchdown that added to that 30 points. Did you watch the game or the score box?

Of course it matter and I never said it didn’tI didnt watch this game. But it looks like defense do matter then.

The kid had a rough day. It happens. Don't know if it was jitters, or he was extra jumpy because no Armstead, but Tua was not himself. He left alot of plays on the field. He didn't get into rhythm until late in the game. He played poorly and it still was a winnable game.
However this defense is a hugeeeeee red flag. Boyer needs to go.
But this was the kind of game we needed. Great physical team, loud hostile environment and refs who were calling ticky tack penalties. This felt like playoff intensity football. We got punched in the mouth. It happens.

Yeah a lot of the penalties felt one sided. Refs bailed the 49ers out multiple times

The Tua vs Herbert debate can be deaded for the immediate future. Now that does not mean Tua isn't good or won't eventually be as good or better than Herbert. But as of right NOW. Herbert is better. No shame in acknowledging that.
