I'm with Ed on this one. For as many top tier guys they get, they're underwhelming as hell and those top guys rarely make a blip in the league as superstar guys. Outside of Peterson and maybe Landry & Claiborne, they're players don't really do shyt. It's like USC QBs on the defensive side

They put out alot of solid talent but they really haven't had too many elite prospects

I think Mingo is an elite prospect this year tho and Reid and Montgomery can be elite depending on the scheme they go to

So has auburn
So has ohio state
So has alabama

This is my point...the whole "if you want to go to the nfl u go to lsu" shyt is an exadgeration compared to their peers when they're on the same plateau

the only one CLOSE is Alabama and thats only in recent years

u have no point, this is the usual Ed Gizzle clear bias against southern schools for no reason other than to hear himself speak

outside of maybe USC noone has been putting the AMOUNT and quality of talent into the NFL the last 10 years(maybe Miami if you wanna count 2000-2003)

LSU is a top 5 program right now and their conditioning program is second to none, even in LSU down years their guys are going to the NFL :skip: itd be one thing if this info wasnt right out there for the public...but it is

Lsu and all those other school make them nfl prospect and first round draft picks. After that its up to the player, if he doesn't pan out than its his fault.

oh yeah, and you idiots who cosign gizzle on some "well what do they do in the NFL when they get there"

thats not the point you damned imbeciles

its the fact they get there in the first place. thats all that matters

cause to a HS kid look at someone like Jamarcus Russell obviously we see he flopped but look at his contract? THEN tell me he flopped

it wasnt cause of LSU i can tell you that, LSU did exactly what it said it did and got him paid. Its all on him after the fact

point being every year you are going to see 5+ LSU players in the draft between rds 1-4

thats basically 5 LSU players every year becoming millionaires...what school outside of ALABAMA can say that :usure:

You're moving the goalposts for an argument nobody invited you into :wtf:

Lsu is not somehow better at sending their players to the nfl than their peers. Period.

All this means is they may lose 3-4 games next season, but the season after they'll be super experienced with a bunch of sophmores and juniors

and that year was one of the worse BCS years EVER too. A two loss national champion? :usure:

Les on the low prolly on borrowed time

Nah cause if he was, they'd never give him those pay bumps when he flirted with Michigan and Arky....he and his agent are good for pulling those stunts
