lol at people expecting gf3 to be like 1 and 2. lol it came out 15 years after the 2nd yall.


idk i really enjoyed the 3rd part. like dude said above, 1 and 2 are considered two of the best movies EVER, ANY GENRE. the bar was set way too high.

michael was great in part 3 too. the movie makes sense and was needed. hes consumed with guilt because of fredo and everything else hes done throughout his criminal reign. and because of this he tries to legitimize the family and ease his way out. i see this as a realistic ending to a great trilogy.

ps i loved andy garcia's character. he was sonny reincarnated and i thought he did a great job. sure sofia coppola did a terrible job acting and the whole love thing between them was but those were my only complaints

does anybody have the godfather trilogy dvd collection that was released back in 2001? man i suggest all gf fans to get this and put in the deleted scenes disc. it has all the deleted scenes from all 3 movies on there and u can just play them all the way through without it stopping. theres damn near an hour of deleted scenes. really good stuff, especially the young vito corleone scenes that were left out of part 2.....

I had that a couple years ago those deleted scenes are good. I like when they AMC or USA plays the whole saga but they do it as a mini series and they play it from young vitos rise to mikes fall in the 2nd one shows how greatly the first 2 flowed. I used to watch GF 1&2 religiously a couple years back. Words can't describe how glad I am to not log on this site one day and be stunned by a godfather remake thread with link and appropriate included. If hollywood ever tried(which I don't think they would) to remake or reboot this story for a buck Id be done brehs...done

I gotta say, Tom Hagan is also my favorite character. Got me checkin for Robert Duvall.

I didn't even finish part 3... A few parts seemed corny. Sonny's kid seemed kinda forced, and Michaels sister saying something like "they fear you now" made me cringe.

Good movie just not on the first two movies levels.

I do like how Connies character changed as her life went on. She went from being the quiet baby sister to being a chick going from man to man then in the end trying to hold the family together trying to be more about the buisness side than Michael was at the time. I've always liked Talia Shire a lot as a actress one of my fav of all time.

Sonny was the realest nikka since Kumbya, I hate that it had to be him
