De Niro was the better actor in the flick....that's why he won. Michael was just acting cold and basically becoming more of a monster as it went through.

They set up all the first hour talking bout part 1 and part of the second hour, but they did quickly gloss over 3...but really in the end that's all 3 really deserves. I liked it and I was glad they got Talia I was afraid she passed and I didn't hear about it she was ghost on the Rocky thing the Bio channel had a while back.
I still can't believe Pacino never won oscars for 1 and 2.

He was in a zone during part 2 man.
tom hagen was always my favorite character though for some reason
It was barely mentioned, and rightfully so. Still a huge fan of the franchise tho, I got all that fool Puzo books where he continue the story.

shyt is crack...everything plays in order. A few of the scenes from the novel for television aren't in the same quality as the rest, but its still dope. I downloaded all of the xvids and put them all on one dvd9 and set them to play right after another, so I could start at the beginning and sit through the whole 9 hrs and 48 minutes uninterrupted
and I did that shyt one sunday too...watched this whole shyt in one sitting drinking, smoking, and eating pizza and wings

As a stand alone, I guess it wouldn't have been that bad. But as the anchor to a trilogy, that shyt was trash.
The bar had been set high for 1 and 2, and 3 just didn't live up to expectations.
It's like Michael Jordan on the Wizards. He still averaged about 20 a game and was better than most NBA players, but people who grew up with Air Jordan thought he was trash
I skipped my DVR guide like crazy and I dont see this shyt.. I missed it like a clown..
