All the in town construction the hoods are the most affordable places, police pretty much got alot of the crime out/lower too. Its pahetic middle class blacks arent trying to move in town, yet complain about traffic to their suburbs that dont even have good school systems. I cant even hate on Mexicans using common sense.

You already know. nikkas need to buying up everything they can ITP right now. I'm trying to get in on this westside belt line shyt now. I already see the writing on the wall. I think SW will stay Black. But NW bout to be invaded by Cacs in the next 10 years. Unless you loaded with cash it's probably too late for the Bluff, but I think that Hollywood Rd/Johnson Rd area is a good look right now. That whole Proctor Creek shyt bout to set that whole area off. shyt Cacs low key have taken over Howell Station for a minute now. They just been just sitting on that shyt and it's the cut so ain't nobody noticing. Any nikka with a brain can ride by that section and see the view of the skyline and peep out what the Cacs see in it

Of course the ATL
When I saw that first thing I thought was a casino. They gotta be in on some back room shyt the public don't know about. All the Hard Rock Hotels I know of got casinos. With all the talk of them trying to put casinos in the A I'm sure this part of that shyt.

Where in Castleberry Hills are they building this? They got plenty of room in there, but I'm wondering what they're tearing down to make space, b/c that hotel looks massive. And I agree with you about the casinos, but I thought they wanted to do that in Underground

They been in Adamsville. Looks like they slowly creeping into other hoods on the west too.

They been all over East point too, I thought I was in Marietta for a min :heh:

Somewhere on Centennial Park Dr I think. I'm like you tho. Really can't see where they gonna put it. Only place I can think of is in the Gulch. Either way downtown gonna be stupid in like 10 years. And if we do get casinos:whew:.

Yup i copped in the AUC/vine city area, and its not going to be an over night change but the next 10-15 yrs is going tk be interesting. If i wasnt trying to stack and get debt free id buy up some bandos because you can get em for pennies since the city doesnt make tax income from them being without an owner

The note that it's COP is the key. When we think Castleberry we are thinking Peters St. The area of COP has space to the right if you are coming up COP from Philips.

:mjcry:at Morris Brown just being an OutKast song to most people. I don't know how I would feel if my school was essentially closed. Another thing most folks don't know is Morris Brown was D1 for a few years.

I went there for a semester. The last one before they lost their papers actually. Wasn't there long enough to form an attachment really. I was pissed when I left there and went to Metro and they had way nicer shyt at a Juco than they did at a 4 year school. shyt wasn't even close in terms of facilities.

2PM announcement for College Football Playoff Locations for 2018-2020 :jawalrus:

I already know you got the inside info, so I'm assuming MB Stadium will get the playoff. You been by the stadium preview yet?

Damn, that whole situation is sad. But it also reinforces we gotta give back to HBCUs and make sure we have competent leadership

I actually feel we need to consilidate many of our HBCUs, Clark Atl barely making it, they just pulled their engineering and international business programs yet still offer irrelevant stuff like fashion design since thats what kids will spend money and major in. We have too many HBCUs , we need fewer and turn some into JUCOs best to circulate what we have amongst a few and make them elite than spread thin trying to support 100+ HBCUs and only 10-15% are worth a damn.

Where in Castleberry Hills are they building this? T

this is all I could find....

A Hard Rock Hotel is coming to Castleberry Hill as part of the upcoming Castleberry Park development. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that the hotel, developed by Bolton Atlanta LP, will feature a rooftop bar, meeting space and live entertainment — as the name would suggest. Minutes away from the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the 220-room lodge will be ready to open in spring 2018, a year after the stadium's debut, officials say. While the Hard Rock may be the big news of the moment, it's small potatoes compared to thehotel planned adjacent to the stadium. Poised to rise from the ruins of the Georgia Dome, the unnamed hotel could have as many as 2,000 rooms, making it the largest in Atlanta. But for now, the Hard Rock at Castleberry Park is the only project moving forward.

Along with the hotel, the Castleberry Park development is slated to bring 122 apartments and 24,000 square feet of ground floor retail space to the neighborhood. As we reported a year ago, the project isreceiving funds from the TAD to drive investment in the neighborhood, with $4.2 million coming from the city. In a statement this week,Mayor Kasim Reed described the Castleberry Park project as "a powerful economic anchor, bringing new jobs and further investment to our downtown corridor and stadium neighborhoods."

Once open, the hotel will be the 11th outpost of the brand in the United States, joining a list of cities Chicago, Las Vegas and Orlando. The Hard Rock group has been trying to bring a hotel to downtown Atlanta since at least 2007, when plans were announced for a hotel-condo combo next to the Georgia Aquarium. Those plans, like many, crumbled during the recession.

I agree w/ this

Create something of a strong university with all the colleges there. Maybe have a Tech school as well. I love the area though. Still believe the AUC can be a strong viable higher ed.
