Any of y'all been to Bar Vegan? I went yesterday and i thought it was overrated. I'm not pressed to go back

I went a few times. It's an on and off type of place.

A few times I went and there was nothing but baddies in there but other times it was mid.

What other spots do you hit?

I don't go to too many places. I like going Draw Bar, Pasha hookah lounge and restaurant is nice.

On a nice weekend I'll go to Chatahooche Water Works and just walk around outside and eat and drink while chilling

Thinking about coming to Atlanta next month for vacation. I'm booking a hotel downtown. Any recommendations when I touch down.

I only mentioned the hotel part because I want to plan everything around the downtown area or closer to that area

The Marriott marquise and the Hyatt regency the two main hotels downtown. They right in the middle of peachtree. The other decent hotels downtown are the Westin and the Hilton. Both within a block of the Hyatt and the Marriott. Then you got the Crowne Plaza a few blocks up but ain’t nothing really right there.

Then if you go to midtown it’s way more but that’s pretty much the downtown guide. You could stay in a hotel close to the aquarium and State Farm but that’s high key the lame side of downtown. If you must stay downtown then stay somewhere on peachtree

Hit Nobu or Thomspon Hotel, both in Buckhead. Nobu is connected to Phipps Plaza, one of the nicest malls in the Southeast and across the street from Lenox. They just renovated Phipps and just opened a new food hall in the mall as well in addition to the new Lifetime gym.

Thompson hotel low key got the best rooftop vibe in the city and is a couple minutes walk from Shops at Buckhead. Great restaurants, shopping over there as well.

As far as what to do off of Peachtree St is our main street so you can find and do almost anything off of it. It really depends what part of town you’re in and what you want to do but the two hotels I mentioned to you are both very close to Peachtree

Basically, @semicko82 don't stay downtown lol. Downtown is WACK. Midtown and West Midtown are better and livelier and you'll be closer to all the places where you will want to be. Check out the Interlock Hotel. It's in West Midtown. Has a dope bar called Draw bar and there's a lot of restaurants and shyt to do around it. Also somebody up top mentioned Buckhead which will also be lively. Aint nothing downtown but homeless people. Downtown Atlanta is not a hub like other cities. It's kinda weird how ATL is hella active pretty much everywhere except downtown lol.

Not too much for real. It’s a lot to do around it. Midtown right down the street. Peter street, and Edgewood right down the street. The stadium down the street. It’s just centrally located. It’s a decent amount of restaurants on peachtree but to be honest the ones in midtown better. Main attraction of peachtree st is peachtree center which is really just a hub that connects the hotels and holds a lot of food spots.
