Any spot between douglasville & Atlantic station


I remember someone posted a black owned soul food or bbq spot with a rooftop section somewhere in the city..anyone know the name of it?

Brehs what’s some good spots for a date in Douglasville or West Atlanta?

I mainly take females out on the south and east side but this my first one on the westside of town

In Douglasville, Gumbeaux, Red Velvet Bistro and Fabiano's. Fin & Feathers is a black owned spot on the other side of 20 that's decent as well.

I don’t know the names of west Atlanta neighborhoods…

In east Atlanta I’d ask for some spots in Glenwood park or EAV etc. Only neighborhoods I know in west Atlanta are collier hills & spots like that.

Twisted Soul, Bone Garden, Fox Bros BBQ has a spot in the new-ish Chattahoochee Food Works(think something similar to Krog Street Market) just north of those, Big Easy Grille up on Collier Rd, Bao Bun Hibachi over on Howell Mill, and just north of 85 on Howell Mill there's a food truck park that's been going steady for a good minute that's worth it if you're in the area during the day.

If you wanted to be at least 20 mins from downtown but get the biggest crib in a decent area, where and how far would you be willing to live?

I'm in Smyrna area and my girl is in Buckhead. We want to rent a house before potentially buying a crib (if it goes there). Conyers and Lawrenceville are too far on the eastside. Douglasville is the furthers on the west.
