It doesn't affect me either way, thankfully.
I can tell you exactly how this dance is going to go. The usual catchphrases will come out: jobs, tax base, tourism, etc etc. What will get glossed over is that none of that money ever benefits the people actually living there, other than politicians who have to be greased. Another thing they'll tout is the location, but let anybody say it should be in Cobb or Alpharetta and see how fast the talk switches up. Take a hard look at the areas around where casinos have sprouted before all over the country. It's an economic desert for miles because everybody around is paying the casino people...and they don't share. It's legit worse than a Walmart setting up.
My personal gut instinct says that this is a pitch for the good ol' boy crowd to build a bulwark against the flood they want to defend against. That kind of play usually backfires...but if Trump has shown people anything, it's that they'll give away the entire state to someone else who looks like them instead of learning to get along with the neighbours who don't.
I do whatever it takes my boy. Being in Buckhead is just one of my hustles
its nice though to look at the pretty playground, even if you cant go in, ill probably never go to suntrust or mecedes benz stadium either, i still haven't been to the aquariumIt doesn't affect me either way, thankfully.

Its so dumb...why even announce that shyt? SMH
dem republicans already threw the gambling thing in the bushes, its going to take a corporation dropping bags at senators' doorstep for them to consider it again
The problem with your example is they spending way too much money around perimeter mall for ppl to go someplace other than perimeter mall.
South side, clayco is where I stay and I like it out here. What’s y’all favorite side of the city? I’m use to the south side and southwest so I fukk wit it more. The east side cool too just getting expensive

I love the west end, that’s where I like to eat and chill
The East has always been too hectic for me but it’s some good folks out there. I was smoking last night in Lil Haiti and they said somebody died in the parking spot we were in like two days ago
I don’t like the bougie areas but little 5 points is cool too.
