A former member of Destiny’s Child, the girl group that catapulted Beyonce to stardom, was arrested Thursday in DeKalb County.
About 2:54 a.m., an officer went to the 3500 block of Chamblee Tucker Road in reference to a drunk call, according to a police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The officer said Farrah Franklin was outside Planet Fitness arguing with a man.
She had bloodshot eyes. Her speech was slurred. And her breath reeked of alcohol, according to the report.
“I asked Ms. Franklin how much alcohol she had consumed,” the officer said in the report. “Ms. Franklin said, ‘Not enough.’”
Franklin, 35, of Torrance, Calif., was taken to the DeKalb jail on public intoxication and marijuana possession charges. The officer said he noticed a green, leafy substance in Franklin’s purse during an inventory search.
She and Michelle Williams replaced original members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson in 1999.
After Franklin’s departure months later, Destiny’s Child became a trio.

Of course the ATL
what's a good sports bar that usually has a live crowd to catch game 5 tomorrow in Midtown or downtown area?

Midtown:

Hudson Grille
Taco Mac

Peachtree Rd for both locations (they're across the st from each other)

I personally like Taco Mac a lil more (slightly better food to me, bigger drink menu), but Hudson has an outdoor patio and is good too. Can't lose with either option

Downtown:

Stats (Marietta St, a few blocks from the CNN Center/Philips Arena)
Dantannas (in Philips Arena)
Hudson Grille (across the st from Philips Arena on Marietta St)
Hooters (Peachtree Rd)
Taco Mac (in Philips Arena)

Stats is probably the most unique of all of these design wise, if you're going with a group you can have a really good time. Menu is meh.

Dantannas has the best menu of any place I've listed, the spinach & crab dip will change your life, I promise. :wow: Can be a bit pricey tho

Hooters :ld: I know several waitresses there :yeshrug:
