The bourgeoisie isn't a monolith, there are competing (it is capitalism we're talking about here) factions based on industry, location, financial interests, size, etc. Some elements of the ruling class want globalization, others want strong states and borders.

They are competing but want to end borders, strong corporations and weak states.

Lol

You prefer genocidal warfare in Europe to the European Union?

:lolbron:

As if anti-globalists like Steve Bannon aren't corporate whores/living off the pittances of the global elite (strong corporations)
:mjlol:

Nigel Farage has reignited Scottish and Irish nationalism (weak states)

So, why do the ruling class who want globalization want it if, as you said, it will "facilitate class unity and shared struggle against the ruling class"? Are you saying one faction of the ruling class is using the working class against the other faction of the ruling class?

It's a coincidence. Those factions of the ruling class are pursuing it for their own material interests. Frankly at this point, it's not like the ruling class is facing a united, focused, militant working class, so the threat of revolution is not strong enough to make the ruling class close ranks on something like this. Many capitalists want protectionism because it is good for their bottom lines and the survival of their businesses and industries.

My original point was that the working class has nothing to gain from xenophobia and closed borders, which is what all this neofascist whining about "globalism" and "globalists" is about.

1. EU doing a good job keeping things together with failed economies and the people protesting against no jobs.

2. Steve Bannon is a white nationalist nobody who has no global appeal. He can't think outside his own redneck viewpoint.

3. Irish and Scottish nationalism never died.

Factions....Such as? It's all of them. They fear the populace is growing independently. Neo-fascist wouldn't complain about Globalist since Fascism invites Globalism.

1 - The only failed economy is Greece. Also, European integration (even if it has led to market distortions) is still better than your 1930s wet dream
2 - Steve Bannon helped engineer Trump's victory. Why aren't you happy that your fellow alt-right nationalist is so influential?
3 - It was an ember. Now it's reignited due to anti-globalists like you and Farage

Calling out the Jews by name will get you labled an anti-Semite and blackballed so people have to use code words like Globalist, Illuminati, Reptilians, Elites, Communist, Marxist, etc...

At the end of the day it always leads back to the Jews. :laff:
:heh: You forgot about Oligarchs.

The only person who is clueless is the individual who believes that facism= opening up of borders and weaker states.
