Just finished watching this and I gotta be honest I still don't know what the fukk I just watched.... I appreciate the hip hop dedication and lessons that it gave for those that need/look for a fundamental understanding of rap/dj'n/graffiti but I was not impressed by the acting or where they actually want to go with this storyline.... Ep 1 was brutal to get through cus of the horrible acting (it got better though).... The filming reminded me of a drawn out Camp Lo video..... I can see potential in the series as it continues though... Awaiting part 2....
Yea didn't like it at first...it grew on me....it's cool
That scene with Jaden and cac dude aside, I actually loved it, I was weary of watching it due to the "mixed" reviews I was hearing. But I Was drawn in from the first episode. Though seeing dude spit over Nas lyrics was odd, but Nasir the GOAT got himself a winner here. Looking forward to Season 2.
