Lies of P, SF6, Hifi Rush, AC6, Starfield, Hogwarts would be the possible replacements if you took out RE4, so due to genre and production purposes I understand why it's in, but given that it's reused assets and not an original game I think the uproar is justified

System Shock Remake was one of my favorite games this year. but even if it was my favorite game this year, I wouldn't feel right calling it GOTY. these games already received their accolades when they first released

Starfield has an 83 on metacritic, there are 16 games nominated this year with better critical reception. So even if mario wonder didn’t make it in theres like a dozen more games that deserve the spot over starfield.

Like I said before they should only do nominations by category like best rpg or open world game and then do like best score or storyline and then tally up the games with the most points or wins at the end of the night and crown that game of the year.

Good thing the nominations aren’t voted on by the audience but from media outlets, either way you slice it there wasn’t a chance of Starfield being nominated. There is no metric it wins in over the other nominations.

This just kind of proves they are being left in the dust by the rest of the industry. They gotta update the way they make games by the time ES6 comes out

ES needs to be built on an entirely new engine, their sandwich, pool table ball and potatoe animations look great, but all the shyt that matters looks like it’s from 10 years ago, that shyt ain’t gonna fly anymore

It’s why Rockstar have reportedly patented some next gen crazy looking shyt for their animations/movement…they bring that nasty unresponsive and sluggish character animation/movement over from GTA5 & RDR2 for GTA6 they’d be crucified
