I just came here to say Starfield got snubbed, super Mario wonder is a 2d side scroller, those games and Indy games should never be in game of the year categories against massive open world games. I’d rather that put in cyberpunk over that.

Nintendo is graded on a curved, and this is coming from someone who own a switch and doesn’t own a Xbox

Mario Wonder is a better game than at least three of those games on that list, GTFOH.

Mario Wonder is a better game than at least three of those games on that list, GTFOH.

Open-world games with a bunch of busy work that isn't compelling<<<extremely well-designed 2D games.

Mario wonder is good but limited.

It truly is not much better than the average indie 2d platformer.

It really shouldn’t be compared to games that are gonna give you dozens of hours of gameplay, cinematics, voice acting, an actual story, challenging gameplay, etc.

They all cost the same amount of money. Every game on that list gives you so much more than a 2d mario game.

It's a fact that the awards are done by 120 different reviewers, the same reviewers who scored MS games high enough in 2021 to have metacrictic crown MS as publisher of the year.

It aint stanning thinking that guy handpicked 6 games and left MS out on purpose, it's complete stupidity, something you partake in quite a bit.
