I feel you, but a low budget indie game can give you the same amount of fun and satisfaction.
For me, this year Armored Core was the pinnacle of my fun and satisfaction, but i can understand why it’s not up there compared to games that give so much more

There’s one game on that list that doesn’t match the others.
I dont care who’s nominated or who wins, cause it has zero effect on my enjoyment of a game.
But from a objective conversation standpoint, one of those games doesn’t deserve to be there. I’m ok with any of those other games being up there and winning. I know my opinion doesn’t line up with the mainstream.
I’m not sure who those people are or what they said. If you are spending time in spaces where you are privy to those guys opinions then that’s on you.
What i do know, is that those guys have exact opposition who say just as crazy shyt, but you would never call them out.
