Sean and most of The Ringer were in the tank for the MCU. Only recently they've started to really go at the MCU because the quality or lack of quality couldn't be defended anymore.
Van Lathan is still a MCU apologist. Charles rips apart the MCU now every chance he gets, I think it's hilarious because he's doin it in part to get under Van's skin.
They all loved 'The Batman' though. I think if The Flash is good, at least the guys on the ringerverse will say that it is. I can't see Sean and Amanda giving it a fair chance, Amanda was probably seething about Ezra Miller the whole time given her "I'm an ally to everyone" persona.
yea, i don't miss Big Pic and Midnight Boys. the rest of the pods can fukk off tbh. I like the Watch when they discuss shyt i watch but Greenwald is a pretentious fukk. Rewatchables is almost never a "rewatchable" movie, and I think Mallory Rubin is insufferable

Rewatchables when they do "one for us" be absolute bullshyt lately lol. "fukked up Family February" last year almost ruined their whole podcast...that shyt was terrible. Recently..."The Last days of disco", "Chef", "Adventureland", "whiplash" and "The Vanishing" had absolutely no business on The Rewatchables.
Bill simmons low key has bad taste in films, and is super biased toward random late 80s and early 90s movies that absolutely suck.
I will say, his take on Kay Corleone is 1000% right

There's been some bullshyt on there of late but I still think it's one of the best podcasts around. I was listening to 'Casino Royale' today, it just went up the other day and I was dyin when they were discussing the poker scenes.
I also think they do a tremendous job on action/adventure and crime genres. The pods on 'Heat', 'Goodfellas, 'Casino' etc. are amazing. They've done a great job on selecting action. What other podcast would have selected 'The Last Boy Scout' or 'Sudden Death'. That's the shyt I live for.
yeah, Casino Royale was a great episode, certainly agreed. its still 'autoplay' status when an episode drops. I need more action movies with Shea Serrano and Chris Ryan lol. Their action movies are the only time Ryen Rusillo is entertaining too lol

My only nitpick is some of the CGI in his time travel scenes is goofy looking. They used 3D renders of people for some reason and it came off kinda cartoony

Thanks for the non-spoiler review @Larry Legend Listen, we're talking about 'The Flash' here and they are doing time travel shyt and Keaton's Batman is in it along with Affleck's Batman and Supergirl, like obviously this is a day one for me regardless of what critics say. Ezra Miller is also a good actor, I expect him to do a good job
