The beauty with using any of these 3 villains (and even some others) is they don't necessarily have to be out in the forefront but running stuff from behind the scenes.

Like early New Mutants books when Sebastian Shaw was financing the Sentinel production, or with Mojo (possibly working with Arcade) sending assassins the Xmen's way

I'd love to see The Brood at some point too

All that being said all roads need to take us here at some point

Nah I gotta disagree man.

I remember fans talking about the movies fukked up Cyclops like, 10+ years ago. If not longer than that. From what I understand (and I haven't read comics in like, 20+ years so bear with me) he's supposed to be more along the lines of Captain America in the MCU. He's supposed to be the well respected team leader and in the movies he was basically a side kick getting disrespected by Wolverine.

I just want them to stay away from the Phoenix Saga for at least 5 movies. Super tired of the cinematic takes on this story, and ready for something different. The movies don't even have to be serialized in the way the MCU films are. Make a couple standalones just to keep things varied

cyclops was a cool mufukka in the 90's. cyclop was fukin every version of jean grey, blastin nikkas, slappin up wolverine on occasion for wanting to smash jean. then they bytched him out in the mid 2000's.

if you'd look at the numbers... most comic book fans are right... DC tried that, lets skip the origin story shyt a few times... You know what finally got them back on track... WW and Aquaman's origin stories.. Even if you put it in as flashbacks or a sequel "prequel"... in order for the movie to do enough numbers to even get those sequels, you better tell that story again.... again and again
