fukk the famous ones. 50's and 60's foreign films led to the most revolutionary period in American filmmaking history my dude.

nikkas like Scorsese, Coppola, Lucas, Schrader, etc. don't exist without it.

You looking at the wrong shyt.

Andrei Rublev
Army of Shadows
Battle of Algiers
A Generation/Ashes and Diamonds/Kanal (Wajda Trilogy)
Paths of Glory
Dr. Strangelove
2001: A Space Odyssey
Throne of Blood
Seven Samurai
On the Waterfront
Shadows
Faces

Barely scratching the surface. But again, can't help someone who thrives on being ignorant.

The David Mamet joint?

I might need to re-watch, again, I remember being underwhelmed. I mess with Mamet heavy though, plays and films.

Could probably count Glengarry as a heist flick.

Just seen House of Games a couple days ago. Not bad.

That might be my least favorite Mamet. I could see the twists coming too often I think.

But I love The Spanish Prisoner.

How is Training day a heist film? :childplease: Just because a robbery takes place in the film doesn't make it a "heist" film.

Anyone who doesn't have Heat and/or Ocean's 11 is their list should have their list void.

Heist with Gene Hackman was terrible. Anyone who has that movie in their list gets a :pacspit: from me.

Heat is overrated. Thief is better.
