 i read like 2 when i was in middle school

Yeah thats the thing. I started reading them in the 6th grade, but he keeps coming out with new ones. I'm not gonna stop just because I'm 20 now. They're still good books.

Aw snap. We got a book thread.

One recommendation for you guys. City of Thieves by David Benioff. Absolutely fantastic read. You won't be able to put it down. It is written by the author and screenwriter of The 25th Hour. He's also a writer and co-creator of the Game of Thrones tv series.

Here's a short synopsis

Seventeen year old Lev Beniov lives alone in an apartment in Russia during the Siege of Leningrad. His poet father was recently abducted by the NKVD secret police and his mother and sister have fled the besieged city. Lev is arrested for looting the body of an ejected Luftwaffe pilot. Sent to prison, he meets Kolya Vlasov, a young soldier arrested for deserting his unit.

Lev and Kolya are brought to an NKVD colonel who barters with them: if they are able to obtain a dozen eggs for the colonel's daughter's upcoming wedding, the two will be given their freedom. If they are unable to find the eggs, a luxury in the starving city, both will lose their lives.

Funny, tense, thrilling. Book is just great, brehs. Check that shyt out and enjoy.

If any of you are interested in the Asian side of World War 2, Rape of Nanking was a great read, if a bit hard to stomach.

Finished reading The Magicians by Lev Grossman. Really good book and takes a look at magic in a different way.

After reading The Dark Knight Rises in a couple of days, I had the urge to read more Batman prose novels which led to the current title I'm reading: No Man's Land.
