That was not the plan. They just wanted to set up Sheamus as some big shot Super Face and it backfired because fans booed him at key events for years after that. Big Dummy didn't even turn heel until last year.

The Double turn for Austin? Austin had a legit match where he refused to quit and they had that story where Bret was "whining" as a build to it for MONTHS:laugh: How the hell you got that crossed with Bryan getting jobbed in 18 months for his first WM match?

He wasn't no face for MONTHS...lol. He feuded with Sheamus for a extra month and then did the CM Punk feud but fans were cheering HARD for him during the CM Punk feud that it felt like he was a face. They had him try to scheme and fukk over AJ at Raw 1000. REMEMBER?:laugh: Then Punk and the Rock came out and he ate a Rock Bottom.

He was involved with the champ and the Rock. Doesn't sound like a burial to me. Sounds like being put on the backburner at worst, cooking slowly for that eventual push to the top.

That wasn't no burial..I'm talking about the SHEAMUS fukking set up. They built him up to lose to Sheamus in a comical amount of time. Warlord got more time in a match with Hercules than that. Get real.

Bryan losing to 15 minutes to Sheamus would have been worse for him in the long run. It all worked out so who cares

Who cares..everyone cares because it showed the short sightedness of Cripple H and Vince. Trying to squash the guy who carried Smackdown to put over a lousy boring pale Super Face that no one wanted to cheer for. He was such a joke that they cheered for heel Del Rio the next night. Pure comedy. Utterly backfired. Tottally out of touch. Silliness. Dumb decision making and then he started getting cheered over Kofi, got AJ over, stole the spotlight from CM Punk, and was making people care about Kane again out of the blue. They tried to BURY HIM but he was resilent and was better than all of the shaky $hit.
