The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

I see you didn't even respond to the fact that black women as a whole (at least in that thread) condemned those picture that you posted. Yall conveniently ignore anything that doesn't prove your point and then make bs post talking about nothing (like the one you just made).

That's funny. Telling other people that they're conveniently ignoring things when you do it all the time.

Please tell me what I've ignored :lupe: I'll wait! Anyone who knows me/my posting knows that I will post to the death to refute any point that's thrown at me.

So all these black women i've seen from school years, to television that are wearing a weave with a hair texture that doesn't match their own. You tell me finally and i'll back off, Why are the majority of black women doing this? From the USA to Caribbean to Africa, why are the majority doing this?

I don't know those women, so I cannot tell you why they wear weave, but for the women I know and the women in this thread (including me) we all wear weaves for protective styles or even just for the hairstyles. Unlike a lot of men in this thread, I don't assume to know the motives behind other people's actions.

Yeah, bruh...in the western world we have a European standard of beauty that has been force fed into our collective consciousness for centuries, not an african standard. You aint really sayin sht. If nikkas really wanted to take a stand, we would stop dating women with weaves, idealizing and celebrating natural hair and an african inspired aesthetic. If we do that, our women would definitely follow suit.

Btw, you talkin all this white women dont try to look black sht.....mind explaining tanning salons and the butt injections wave?

I may be wrong but isn't the tanning supposed to be indicative of being well traveled or something along those lines for white people?

That's my thing. I am guessing that there are plenty of women who wear weaves because of self-hate and self-esteem, but unlike these mofos, I know I can't speak for a whole race of women so I don't generalize.

Its the point we've made (that has been convieniently ignored to suit their agenda) since the very beginning of this long ass thread. :heh: I'm starting to think that some dudes on here are getting their :troll: on

:rudy: It's ironic because i think yall trolling. All these different ways to mask what sub consciously alot of black women think , "straight hair>>>>my hair". I don't blame them for that, but you deny that it even exists. Hiding behind "some not all" :heh:

I'm sorry but when it comes to the Coli, I would suggest any Black women who doesn't want to be emotionally/mentally abused to do the exact OPPOSITE of everything y'all say y'all like on here so she can avoid attracting men who will assault her self esteem.

However because I know good men irl do appreciate Black women's natural beauty I do encourage all my sistas to get off the relaxers, etc. when they can. Its more about calling out the hypocrisy of the BW-hater brigade that likes to point out every self hate characteristic of BW while ignoring and even defending Black men's. I can't get over Black men thinking this is natural for Black women

and this is natural for Black men

I guess y'all think we come from different wombs :russ:

it's funny you use this picture because the "black man" is clearly light skinned, probably even directly mixed

but how many black women do we see daily rocking their REAL natural hair texture like the lady above? i mean i said the exact same thing you said a few months back. black women act like we came from different wombs. dudes that rock waves are minority in itself but i see black men with THEIR real hair texture. black women, ehh, in LA, not so much. y'all are negropeans in every since the word out here.

How can we deny it exists if we've all said that there are those who fall under that umbrella.

So is it some? A lot? The vast majority? Most?

And why are a good amount of your posts complaints about black women anyway? :lupe:

Please tell me what I've ignored :lupe: I'll wait! Anyone who knows me/my posting knows that I will post to the death to refute any point that's thrown at me.

but the thing is that u havent really refuted anything. Here is the gist of the issues that BM have with the issue of weave:

1) We believe that Black women look better wearing their natural hair
2) when BW wear weave they are wearing the texture and sometimes color of (asians, whites and indians) that is a fact that cant be refuted
3) Other races dont go out and buy hair that looks like "black hair" and put it on their heads
4) There is some degree of self hate and shame in many (not all) BW who wear weave. They believe that they look ugly and or unnatractive without weave
5) Many chicks claim that weaves "protect your hair" well why not go out and get wigs or weave that look like "black hair" to protect your hair?

Im not bashing BW, Im not name callin or being disrespectful. im clearly stating facts

I think people took my words a bit too literally. Im not saying that all white women get tans with the expressed desire to "look black" (whatever looking black entails), just the same as all black women certainly dont use weaves to "look white". Generally, they all are trying to enhance their features through means that mimic, or are associated, with those outside of their racial category.
