Well, if that was a trend (like dreads) then why not? I dont like dreads but I've seen some men that were attractive with them. So its to each its own. The sentiment in this thread is that the women here are wearing weaves because they have low self esteem. Regardless of the reasons given, fools are in here arguing with women they dont know about why they do what they do with their hair.

u skipped over an important part of my post tho. it is true tho that many BW that wear weave dont think that they are beautiful without weave tho. I know u understand that part. many BW feel that their beauty is validated by having a weave. This is taught to little girls at an early age. I just want to change the overall mentality of BW to believe that they are beautiful without weave and that they dont have to measure up to the "white standard of beauty"

It's not a deal breaker. If i had an option, i'd opt for extentions, but my exes wore weaves all the time (i mentioned this once; one even wore it to sleep cuz she didn't
want me to see her natural hair - i was advocating for the weave removal and that i wouldn't judge but nope; it wasn't happening).



The only types of women i would turn down is if she's outside a gym/basketball court and she's wearing jordans.

I don't know that to be true. I dont ask women do they think they are unattractive without their weaves because I dont care and overall that is not my belief. Of course, there may be some but I dont think it is the majority.
