The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

"As far as black hair is concerned, black hair is unique and different, so if your not taught how to take care of it you'll easily damage it "

Re-read my comment again

Lol you learn how to read. I wasn't taught shyt. I just grew my black gawd mane out washing it once every two weeks and like I said, it looked immaculate. :ahh:

I didn't need to attend special classes and get certs to grow out black hair. :what:

My hair was/is not damaged because I can still grow it out beautifully to this day.

So what are you saying

Considering that the first documented use of hair hats was like 3400 b.c. in Ancient Egypt, NOTHING has really changed about society.

We talking Ancient Egypt now :heh:

West Africans weren't putting that bullshyt in their hair and those Ancient Egyptians weren't trying to emulate hair of other races. But keep clinging to that weave though...

Did you read what I was responding to? He stated:

Human civilization reached a new low when women decided it was OK to wear someones dead hair.

Bringing up the fact that wearing someone's dead hair is farrrrr from a new phenomenon shows that his statement was silly because if weave dictates society being low, we were already at rock bottom in BC times. You don't see how I was making fun of his stupid quote? :mindblown:

My statement had nothing to do with defending weaves. Some of you :snoop:

ok hate might be too strong a word in this soft generation. How about black women prefer to have a hair texture that isn't their own?

Still false "black women" are not a collective. They have differing opinions and motivations to do what they do.

Any statement prefaced with "black women__________" is inherently false

Furthermore every race and sex does things to alter their hair texture. Why do black women get all the flak for it?
