If you're a dude and you think a woman wears weave because she hates her natural hair or is trying to be white, then there is really no need to argue. Most women don't even look at wearing weaves from that perspective so it makes for a difficult conversation to have.

It's not weird to treat hair like an accessory. People match hairstyles with outfits all the time. And it's really not directly comparing to shoes but the fact that most of us have more than one pair or shoes for variety and not out of necessity.
