The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

You have the right to find whatever you find attractive, attractive. However when it comes to a lot of Black men talking about what is natural and what's not....you get the

once you open your mouths. Because it doesn't take long to see that half the time y'all don't know wtf you're talking about. Like at all :manny:

oh...but this is natural?

Funny enough a lot of women say, well my man doesn't care about my weave or what I wear so I don't give a fukk what anyone else thinks. So if men started showing more open disdain for weave wearers and showed more love for natural hair in public then maybe the women would realize how they are presenting themselves and change.

A lot of people's self-worth is based on how others perceive them. So if a black woman hates her natural hair maybe it's due to how she thinks society views it.

again with the deflection.

DO IT FOR YOURSELF.

fukk WHAT OTHERS THINK. :pachaha:

You mean since the mid to late 80s? Not really ages. And keep in mind Black women actually did things like keep Black men feeling safe and desirable enough to transition away from those types of styles. What support have Black women gotten from Black men besides being called hair hated hooligans and beasties? And even with all that, no BW-bashing Black men on this site has addressed why they don't have a problem at all with Black men altering their hair to appear less Black.

Shaving the naps off your head so you don't have to deal with them is not 'natural' nor does it show you have any pride in your African features.

And the modern day conk (see: waves) are not a natural hair style for Black men either. If they were Black men at large wouldn't need to pile grease on their heads, brush constantly, and wear female rags over their scalp to support it. Pour water on a Black man with wave's hair and see if he doesn't try to swing on you.

 Wrong. I put grease in my hair 2-3 times a week and that's just so my hair doesn't get dry and start getting dandruff not for the waves. I also wash my hair everyday and brush for a couple seconds every morning and still got my waves.

The amount of effort these black women go through to protect weaves is appalling.

Cant wait till this weave fad is over and these black chicks wake up.

I think my experiment was useful for all to see. :win:

Black women really have shytty reasons to defend that trash.

Nope, and I don't think anyone has ever argued that it is. But neither is shaving all your hair off. Or coating it in grease, brushing it non stop all day, and putting rags on your hair to loosen your kinky curl pattern to look like you got Indian in your family

Is this the part where all the Black dudes start talking about how their hair naturally is laid out in a wave pattern? Even despite all the forums and videos out there instructing Black men on how to achieve it? Cool.
