Go on ahead and ask Al Gore how you win the people but not the presidency

Electoral College: How to Lose, But Win an Election

so my bad though, not EVERY state, just 39...

Can you tell us how someone can win the popular vote in EVERY state and still lose the electoral vote breh? :comeon:

not at all. Obama could win every state via popular vote and still lose the election.

so what youre saying is even if a state's popular vote is in favor of one candidate, the other can still win that state huh :ehh:

you will be red by the end of the night

considering faithless electors have NEVER changed the outcome of an election. your post is completely wrong because the votes have ALWAYS mattered.

Faithless elector - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

agreed, the whole premise was based on the theoretical possibility, not the historical record. Bottom line still stands, We, the people, do not ultimately choose the president during the general election.
