It's amusing to see the "electoral math" being quoted left and right by liberal sources. Depending on the poll, some swing states have Romney up in places such as Ohio.
I see the "it's over" talk as a way to save the passanger and crew before the ship actually sinks...it's been preached for a few months now.

you're right technically. Assuming Obama won all states by popular vote BUT the electoral colleges of the states that don't require they vote for a pacticular person, HOWEVER; CA Codes (elec:6900-6909) and Electoral College - Elections & Voter Information - California Secretary of State
Let's say 20 of the 55 in cali voted for Romney, in spite of obama winning the popular vote then yeah President Romney would win.
