All these threads shytting on Giannis but none of you goofy mfs know what point ya'll are making.

So Giannis' team got dumped out in a terrible loss...so what does that mean? Does it mean he isn't one of the best players in the league? So who goes ahead of him? If the whole league is drafted, who is being picked ahead of Giannis? Let's just put our cards on the table and say what we REALLY mean. Who is better than Giannis and how many?

I
I don't think anyone really shyting on him. It's just extremely rare for a professional athlete to take this stance publicly. That's why it's viral.

I just wanna know where is the smoke for Jrue?

Jrue is the same nikka that got voted most underrated and best two way player. He ain’t do shyt on both sides of the court.

I’m tired of these “quite” all star/all nba players going under the radar whenever their squad loses.

He deserves just as much heat if not more than giannis

No it’s because he’s a foreign player that brown noses the media. American media puts on kids gloves with foreign players besides Embiid who is the most Americanized of all of them.

Maybe the media puts on kid gloves cause yall don't care about foreign players and they go where the fan interest & money are.

Also, the criticism of a good amount of posters on here for foreign players barely covers up the xenophobia lying underneath.

Blaming HIM simply because he’s the best player is dumb as well. Despite what the analysts said, I was never completely sold on Milwaukee beating Miami because Miami has shown they can beat this team before. That 1-8 matchup doesnt mean as much either because this same Miami core of players went to the Finals a couple of years ago and were the 1 seed just last year. I blame the coach more than anyone. He didn’t make a single adjustment. Everyone watching the game knew what Miami would do except coach Bud
Gotta blame Giannis for not demanding challenges and acquiescing to the coach and his dumb decisions though. Bron, Kobe, Jordan, etc, aren’t gonna just let Jimmy Butler cook their team all game and never demand the assignment because they’re just gonna do what the coach says like it’s little league.

Tim Duncan didn’t do those things when it came to Pop. Had Duncan demanded he stay in the game, there’s a chance Bosh doesn’t get that offensive board that led to the Ray Allen 3

Maybe Giannis is more of that mold than a Jordan or Kobe?:manny:

Then Tim Duncan would have been stupid.

Miami was down by 3 and only a 3 pointer keeps them alive. Why would they have Tim on the court to protect them rim? Same reason the idiots saying Bud was dumb for having Brook Lopez out of the game should cost him his job. Miami was down by 2, the only way you lose is giving up a 3. You'd rather go to OT than lose outright which was the correct play from Bud.

But they still ultimately lost the game (and series) because they gave up a 3, so how did that strategy go?

Well duh. In hindsight we can make all kinds of claims. The point is you don't want to go for the strategy that results in 100% loss. Sure, Bosh could get another possession or Jimmy could hit a layup - but both instances result in OT which is a better outcome than the worst case scenario of giving up an easy 3 immediately (Duncan) or losing your series outright (Lopez on the floor).

Asking how the strategy worked out is a silly question because clearly IT WORKED to prevent the worst initial outcome.
