Because every time it comes to accepting any form of personal responsibility, people like you automatically decry it as "c00ning." As if admission of ANY personal accountability somehow makes you less black.

Owning up your own negative decisions? c00ning.

Believing that the community itself needs to (and could) do much better? c00ning.

Placing blame on anything but "the system?" c00ning.

Exactly, when will people start to understand that you cannot fix the problems until you accept and point them out. But no everytime you do, you're labeled a "c00n".

People seem to miss his point, and always want to jump on the same "you are making excuses" nonsense.

What he's saying is very clear, only a few are gonna rise up from difficult circumstances, while most will get swallowed up.

Y'all are arguing and shyt, not realizing that everyone in this thread, on both sides, are making good points. In fact, a lot of y'all who are arguing are saying the same thing, just in different ways...but insulting each other. This is the problem I was talking about earlier. Yeah, disagree with each other all you want, but why must you denigrate each others' identities and be condescending towards each other? That doesn't breed conversation, and that makes it harder to reach any solutions.

And then we wonder why we struggle to find unity.
