@ me not understanding perspective.....
I've seen both sides of the coin. This all null & void, because with a few rare exceptions, a lot of it comes down to an individuals will power. There are some internal factors which can effect the outcome of an individual, but for the most part the blame solely lies on them.
For example, there are plenty of kids who come from affluent background, who don't wind up doing sh*t with lives despite being spoiled shytless, and countless attempt to encourage to to take life / school more seriously.
I don't see what's sohh hard about paying attention in school, studying and passing your classes.
People seems forget our heritage. We used be denied the right to read and go to school. Where has the hunger gone. We used to have a thirst for knowledge. Now, we have idiots proclaiming that higher education isn't necessary. Despite your household, I don't see what stops people from going getting good grades or not. Who's fault is that an individual didn't study for a test or go to class.
that's what I said in the first line b.
My nikka, You and I don't see what's sohh(killa) hard about going to class or pay attention in school, because school came easy to guys like me you and my nikka Broke Wave. I never studied in HS, but got 4/5 on all my AP tests and still managed to graduate taking all ap/honors classes. I consider myself blessed in that regards. I never had to worry about where a single meal was coming from in HS, I ate well at school, and when I went home, I ate even better. Every decision that I made was my own fault and a large part of it stemmed from who I was around. I don't even consider myself exceptionally strong willed. shyt, back then, I was borderline ADHD according to my geometry teacher and couldn't sit still to save my life.
Now take in the fact that there's a large number of individuals for whom school is extremely difficult for because they're not blessed with the ability to learn that information.Take in the fact that they've been going to a shyt school since they were kids that refuses to recognize their deficiencies and try to overcome them and prepare them for what's going to come. Elementary schools in the hood are daycares b, and that's the worst thing for a "dumb"child. The whole focus is to keep them quiet. As you get older it gets worse, since the social pressures (gangs, lil siblings you have to worry about) and the physical pressures (not eating, not having any money, the fact that you're going through puberty in a zoo) is enough to make anyone, much less people who aren't naturally inclined to school, and weren't prepared for it from an early age, to say fukk it. You think any 9 year old sits in class thinking man this shyt is really important, i better buckled down and ignore my natural inclination to act wild and my teachers natural inclination to just get through his day by pacifying me so I can actually learn this material. If you don't prepare someone socially and academically for school from an early age, they're going to fail later on. Unless like I said, they have EXTRAORDINARY WILLPOWER OR ARE EXCEPTIONALLY SKILLED IN SOME AREA OF LIFE (BE IT ATHLETICS, ACADEMICS, MUSIC)..
Ask my nikka broke wave, he's one of the most intelligent people I know, but if he would recount to you his story to make it you would be astounded.
