Well, the Kpop fanbase does, but that's because the groups they follow desperately want the Western approval, so they do crazy shyt like loop the songs and music videos for 24 hours in order to break records.

...And then they wonder why those groups aren't as big as people make them out to be, because they're "breaking records", but the number of people listening to them as a whole is a lot smaller.
