don't forget Chicago in TDK.. I'm surprised more people don't have a problem with this.

I get Gotham is a fictional city but cotdamn. I was looking at the screen at times like:mjpls:
Maybe they shoulda built a whole damn city:snoop:

Or maybe had a cgi city:snoop:

Or build the old set from Batman Forever:snoop:

or build a pandora like gotham like they did for Avatar. If this was the last one.. why not go all out?

And for Nolan to say he did it so show how big the city was.. Manhattan is that big.. Manhattan is a small island. And how is showing a football stadium, making the city look bigger? Chicago is bigger than Manhattan, No? He thinks the followers of his movies are a bunch of idiots.

:mjpls: this nikka.... go make a tdkr nitpick thread for your bullshyt.

aint nobody nit picking, its just common sense. I know the movie is fiction, but when you use non fiction landmarks that are scattered across the country. Chicago and New York have two different skylines, two different set ups..

The elevated rail system that ran throughout Gotham was GONE in TDK.. so they got rid of it in ONE year which is the timeline in the movie?

Another gripe I have is Batman coming out in the daytime. He didn't in BB and he didn't in TDK. The suit just looks play silly in the daytime because he doesn't blend in and he doesn't look intimidating at all.

The guy who played scarcrow was good enough to warrant his own movie.
Catwoman.. wasn't Catwoman at all
There was no emotional connect to Eckhart's Two/Face so by the time he got killed.. it was like meh.. and afterthought especially since the Joker had already been caught..
Not bring back Katie Holmes fukked up the chemistry and overall synergy Bruce Wayne had with Rachel in TDK.

At the end of the day.. The whole trilogy came off as too "preaching" and I felt like Nolan was trying to teach and spread moral agenda instead of just making kickass comic book movies. These movies don't have to have subliminal morality messages behind them.

part of the thread title reads "reaction/review" and therefore its supposed to be a venue for people to give their reactions and views be it good or bad, no? I can see if it said "positive reviews only" in the title. Maybe you should create an "I don't like your reviews" thread. That way ou can't vent about posts you don't like with reckless abandon.:usure:

finally saw that joint tonight and its easily better than the 2nd one
bane>>joker (not only for the ether but cuz he could see batman in a fair one no problem)
action scenes >>>>>>>>>>>>than dark knight
fight scenes were still :scusthov: to me. Batman supposed to be a world renown martial artist instead it looked like 2 nikkas exchanging blows with one dude being stronger and able to absorb the blows.

The Doctor in there was able to fix Bruce Waynes broken back, but could fix Banes face?

Pretty sure popping a vertebrate back into place is easier than reconstructing a face.

Those plot holes in the story line and brush over reasonings are may work on the uninitiated.... but I'm am apart of the initiated.

You've proven in this thread that you don't even understand what a plot hole is. The only thing you've been initiated into is the League of Trolling fakkits.

I had to give you a dap for that one...

I watched all three movies back to back to back... so I pretty much caught everything. There are several plot holes and unexplained shyt. This was done by not sicking with the characters true origins.. which is cool. They way he did the Joker having no real back story was dope. It made the character than much interesting. They half assed Banes back story. And Bruce Wayne going from broke down to powerfull to paralyzed to being able to kick Bane's ass in a that short of period is absurd.

I think you need to re-watch TDK.

What were ur favorite fight scenes:comeon:

Batman's scenes in TDK are much better than the ones he has in TDKR.

The scene where he sons the vigilantes and Scarecrow in the beginning, stringing up the SWAT team in the construction building, the Hong Kong scene, the scene where he takes Joker down in the street after the dope chase scene... Jumping out the window to save Rachel etc...

I mean, those scenes are better and far more memorable to me than some stiff fist fights that were in TDKR.

Catwoman's combat scenes were more entertaining to me to be honest.
