Batman's scenes in TDK are much better than the ones he has in TDKR.

The scene where he sons the vigilantes and Scarecrow in the beginning, stringing up the SWAT team in the construction building, the Hong Kong scene, the scene where he takes Joker down in the street after the dope chase scene... Jumping out the window to save Rachel etc...

I mean, those scenes are better and far more memorable to me than some stiff fist fights that were in TDKR.

Catwoman's combat scenes were more entertaining to me to be honest.

I'll give u the car scene, but everything else was mediocre.

The nikka jumping out of a window to save rachel:comeon:

The nikka jumping onto a car in the beginning in the garage:comeon:

The nikka jumping into a window in Hong Kong:comeon:

finally saw that joint tonight and its easily better than the 2nd one
bane>>joker (not only for the ether but cuz he could see batman in a fair one no problem)
action scenes >>>>>>>>>>>>than dark knight
fight scenes were still :scusthov: to me. Batman supposed to be a world renown martial artist instead it looked like 2 nikkas exchanging blows with one dude being stronger and able to absorb the blows.
I liked the fight scenes but at the same time I agree.. I was like, "Doesn't Batman have more hand to hand combat skills than what he was showing against Bane?" I didn't mind Bane winning that first encounter but cotdamn he literally wiped the floor with Batman

Batman was out of shape during that 1st fight...then he trains hard in jail like A Rocky movie,.and comes out better than ever

for one.. he was in there for 5 months.. you have to take into account his recovery from the broken back which was at least 1/2 that... But then you have to look at this diet. what was he eating. One would have to assume he had a better diet plan at his estate than in prison. You saw what happened to Floyd Mayweather. Need those carbs, protein and proper caloric intake. I doubt he was getting that.

Then there is the special leg brace that he didn't have. Rocky had better resource and a longer time to train for his fights.

scarecrow cameo in RISES >>> scarecrow cameo in TDK

hong kong scene wasn't all that great. the only thing memorable was the part where he was gliding into the building.

the jumping out the window to save rachel, really? not only was that a lame scene, it left a GLARING plot hole which was WHERE HAPPENED WITH THE JOKER thru all of that? dude was still in the building with his goons. that had to be the biggest plot hole in the movie. the film didn't show or even MENTIONED nothing. it just went directly to the next day! :what:

TDK is one of my all time favorite films, it's heightened due to the flawless performance by ledger. it indeed had memorable scenes, but it had more ridiculous sh1t than in RISES when you stop and actually think about it. the only thing really ridiculous in RISES was talia's death...that was lame as hell. but sh*t, there's way too many memorable moment in RISES from the BANANA COURT, the UPRISING alongside BANE's black gate prison speech, the 1st fight, the final minutes, bruce escaping the pit...

people keep forgetting that this is a batman that's way passed his prime, haven't been batman for eight years, out of shape, physically unfit, and lost his discipline. OF COURSE bane was gonna wipe the floor on him, especially when bane had the same training as batman had!

the fights scenes were the best of the trilogy. before you have those crazy edit cuts and close ups and couldn't make sh*t out at all. this time around you see the whole thing and the whole brutality of it all. why y'all were expecting some matrix sh*t???

i'll give you that point about this movie having the best fight scenes out of all 3 movies; but they still werent impressive. I dont expect matrix or jet li fight scenes; at least bourne identity level fights, or even taken level. I'm not too mad cuz after the first 2 movies i didnt go in with high expectations for the fighting scenes

Him being out of shape is also another plot hole if you think about it. Dude has basically been a cripple for 8 years yet dude was able to get a magic brace and able to fight 20 thugs and dodge bullets like it was nothing.

Its still a great movie; but to me Nolan's biggest weakness were them fight scenes

We will not see another batman movie for a long time. Maybe a cartoon/CGI rendition which could be cool for kids . For all the haters, take a good look at the best batman movies you will see in your life. Its true that people don't appreciate something until its gone. Some know this today, others will realize years later. :to:

You do realise that nobody has called the trilogy wack, most have pointed out the problems they had with THIS film, but thanks for reaching.

Don't skew what is being discussed. Dude said Batman's action scenes were better in TDKR when compared to TDK, which simply is not true.

Batman didn't really have any  moments in Rises like in TDK. And you prove it by naming scenes that Batman wasn't even in.

uhm...its a comic book movie

why dafukk are yall trying to use real world logic to explain why can a nikka in a bulletproof bat suit get stronger in a 3rd world prison without proper nutrients.... and really his knee brace was the thing that bother'd you? Not the flying assault helicopter car(without autopilot), or the rotating wheel'd motorcyle that can powerslide in any direction with rocket launchers, or the amazing donut hole football stadium

the only one i can think of is the flaming bat and maybe that scene where dudes got hit by the poison batarangs or watever
